Hello, band families! We are gearing up for our first traveling event of the season on Saturday. I hope that many parents and family members will come to Woodbridge to watch our marchers! The schedule has changed very slightly, so please take a look below (changes are underlined):
Friday:
2:30 to 3:30 rehearsal
3:30 Load truck
Saturday:
6:45am Report to the band room
Prepare for departure from J.E.B. Stuart
8:00 Load school buses and depart for Woodbridge Senior HS
8:45 Arrive at Woodbridge Senior HS -- unload truck,
change into uniforms9:45 Warm-up
10:15 Stage for performance
10:30 Perform
10:50 Post performance
Pack instruments away/Load truck
Change out of uniforms
Enjoy lunch provided by the boosters
2:15 Awards Ceremony
2:45 Board buses and depart Woodbridge HS
3:30 Arrive at Stuart, unload and dismiss
Parents, below you'll find a link to a spreadsheet listing the volunteers for Saturday's event, so if you need a reminder about what you signed up for or if you can sign up for something now, please check it out. There are a few food items we still need, and please note that we are still looking for pit crew, hospitality, and uniform volunteers. If you can help, please add your name to the list and report to the school on Saturday morning. The Booster parents will show you the ropes!

Looking ahead: Our next football game is October 5, which is Middle School Night. We will provide the usual pizza dinner to our marchers and guests. The students enjoy and appreciate the pizza and the wonderful side dishes and desserts that parents have sent in. If you don't have time to cook, please consider donating to the pizza fund instead, which we call the "Meal Deal." Suggested Meal Deal donation is $20. Please put "Meal Deal" in the comment line of the check. Thank you so much!
